You get to experience the old iron made viaducts and bridges, the narrow tunnels that makes you worried that the train will touch the sides and the wide variety of landscapes including Dunedin City, farmlands, forests and the wild Taieri River below you.
In the summer season the Taieri Gorge Railway also provides a Seasider experience which leads you through more amazing tunnels and spectacular views along the Pacific Ocean coastline.
